Obituary for Thelma D. DuBrock (McConahy)
Thelma D. DuBrock, 86, formerly of New Castle passed away the afternoon of May 13, 2023 at Sunnyview Nursing Center in Butler, PA.
Born in New Castle on December 28, 1936 to the late Wilbur and Elizabeth St. John McConahy.
On February 14, 1970 Thelma married her beloved husband, Richard “Dick” DuBrock. He preceded her in death on November 13, 2012.
Thelma had worked as an officer manager and bookkeeper.
Thelma loved being in the outdoors, going boating with her husband and working outside in her garden and yard.
Thelma is survived by her children, Karen, J. DuBrock (Stephen Solic), Thomas R. DuBrock (Lisa), Terri L. Ross (Anthony “Skip”) and Todd M. DuBrock (Jodi), her special cousins, Gaye, Jessie, Ray and Gloria, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild and several special nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Thelma was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy E. Kramer and brother-in-law Steve Kramer, her brother, William F. McConahy and sister-in-law, Barbara McConahy.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road. Rev. Richard Nero will officiate.
