Sam worked as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service for 44 years. He proudly did his job and got much joy from his co-workers and customers. To explain what kind of man he was, he had a route with several first-generation Italian immigrants and would translate the mail for them. He was beloved by many of his customers.
