Robert J. Bucci of Neshannock Township, PA passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023, peacefully at home with his cherished wife, Carol, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born May 9, 1938 in Volant, PA to Anthony and Gina Bucci. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and had love and respect for his country.

He married the love of his life, Carol on June 21, 1958, and they built a beautiful family together. They had four children that were the other love of Robert’s life. Robert, (Laurie) Bucci of Neshannock Twp., Edward, (Leslie) Bucci of Neshannock Twp., Mark, (Candy) Bucci of Neshannock Twp., and Tracy, (Fran) Lynch of New Wilmington; seven grandchildren: Michael, (Jessica) Bucci, Stephanie Bucci, Holly Bucci, Hunter Lynch, Dylan Lynch, Nick Bucci, and Brooke Lynch, four great-grandchildren and sister-in-law, Nancy Bucci.

Robert was a cement mason with Local 526, for over 60 years. He worked hard his entire life, and was still doing concrete work into his 80s. He was a classic car enthusiast, loved woodworking, loved his Italian Heritage, and enjoyed his homemade wine.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Anthony, his sister, Mary Mash and brother-in-law, Wilbur Mash.

At the wish of Robert the viewing and Mass of Christian Burial at St. Vitus Church are private for the family. Father Aaron Kriss will officiate at the Mass.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to UPMC Family Hospice, 50 Moffett Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15243.
