Obituary for Linda J. Thomas (Rosthauser)
Linda J. Rosthauser Thomas, 72, of New Castle, passed away the evening of November 3, 2022 at UPMC Jameson Hospital.
Born in Erie, PA on February 20, 1950, Linda was the daughter of Richard F. and Jacqueline McClurg Rosthauser. Her mother survives and resides in Erie and her father preceded her in death.
Linda retired in 2022 from the Lawrence County Community Action Partnership where she worked as an Eligibility and Services Counselor for over twenty-one years.
Linda spent her time making crafts and sewing. Linda was also an avid reader and enjoyed cooking. She loved spending time with her family, friends and her best friends, Jackie and JoEllen.
She is survived by her her brothers, Gary Rosthauser, Jack Rosthauser, both of Erie, Richard Rosthauser of Denver, CO; nephews, Neil Rosthauser, Ian Rosthauser, great niece, Savanah Rosthauser, several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation is Tuesday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S. Mill St. followed by a service at the funeral home at 4:00pm conducted by Rev. Richard Nero.
