Obituary for Francis J. Klamut
Francis J. Klamut, 71, of New Castle passed away the afternoon of November 6, 2022 at Quality Life Service of New Castle.
Born on March 22, 1951 in New Castle, Francis was the son of the late Ted and Clara Melcer Klamut.
Francis had worked as a machine operator for Rockwell International. He then worked as a security guard at Jameson Hospital.
He was a member of Holy Spirit Parish.
Francis was an avid outdoorsman and a lover of all types of animals. He enjoyed going boating, fishing and riding his motor cycle. Francis also enjoyed spending time with his family.
Francis is survived by his long- time companion, Barbara Dando Eckles, two children, Patrick Eckles and Shawna Ridenbaugh, his brother, Ted Klamut, Jr. (Linda), two nieces, Kim and Kathy, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Francis was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ann Klamut and granddaughter, Ambra Ridenbaugh.
Visitation will be on Friday 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
A Blessing Service will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Deacon John Carran will officiate.
Burial will be in Parkside Cemetery.
