Obituary for David Burgess Rowe
David Burgess Rowe, 72, of New Castle passed away the morning of December 7, 2022 at Jameson Care Center.
David was born in New Castle on December 30, 1949.
David was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving his country during the Vietnam War.
He retired from Bruce & Merrilees Company where he worked as a janitor.
David was a follower of Health & Wellness and sought to improve his body with physical training, practicing karate and strength training, and was always looking to improve his mind with online learning. Not religious, but looked to the spiritual side to, as he said, “find his place in the universe.” He sought to find humor throughout his life and had an infectious laugh that could set off a crowd.
He is preceded in death by his parents and David is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Rowe (Ryan) of Beaver Falls.
Visitation is Tuesday from 1pm to 2pm at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S. Mill St.
