Obituary for David L. Jackson
David E. Jackson, 62, of New Castle passed away on December 3, 2022.
Born on September 23, 1960 in New Castle David was the son of the late Bernard W. and Phyllis Gene Anderson Jackson.
David had worked in the entertainment business as a D.J.
He was an avid football fan. David also enjoyed working on and repairing cars. A loving father, brother and grandfather David’s greatest joy was the time he spent with his family.
David is survived by his daughter, Marcia Jennings, two brothers, Bernard and Melvin Jackson, one sister, Marcia Jackson, three grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by one sister, one brother and two nephews.
Visitation will be on Thursday, 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
A Homegoing Service will be conducted on Thursday at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. Gary Mitchell, Minister will officiate.
